Foundation and Primary stages use Cambridge International Education (CIE) for English, Mathematics and Science, with a flexible curriculum and integrated assessment. Cambridge Primary sets year-by-year objectives for Years 1–6, and instruction is supported by Montessori-inspired approaches to develop understanding, responsibility and motivation. Lower Secondary uses the Pearson International Lower Secondary Curriculum (iLower Secondary) for Years 7–9 in English, Mathematics, Science and Computing, with an externally marked Year 9 Achievement Test by Pearson. Upper Secondary offers IGCSE with Cambridge, Pearson and OxfordAQA options for O Level, International AS Level and International A Level, alongside MOE-listed national subjects, while the Learning Support Department provides individualized education plans to support students with learning needs.
Art is offered as an extracurricular subject. Students explore creativity with a variety of materials and learn drawing styles and crafts in the art workshop, expressing themselves through structured activities.
Islamiyat is taught as part of cultural education, with character-building sessions, Quran recitation, memorization and revision in line with the Egyptian Ministry of Education syllabus.
Sports are an integral part of student life; the school emphasizes physical education to build a balanced and responsible personality. The main sports include swimming, archery and horseback riding, with karate and fencing also offered, and basic training starts in the foundation years.
The school has a Community Development Program embedded within the school system. Its mission is to empower students to experience the world in order to learn from it and to help improve communities. The program promotes community service and integrated social support through age-appropriate projects, teaching students to give back and assist others. Projects may include learning assistance, organized charity services and social work with hospitals and orphanages.
The Human Development Department helps students lead a successful school life and collaborates with students and parents to promote positive learning experiences. Its aim is to support wellbeing socially and psychologically, as well as to assist parents and the school community. Physical education is a core element, with training in swimming, archery, horseback riding, karate and fencing.
MSG British International School of Egypt offers education for ages 3 to 16. Foundation and Primary follow the Cambridge framework, with English, Mathematics and Science as core subjects and Montessori-inspired methods fostering hands-on learning.
