Facilities

Resources and spaces that support learning and development

Academic Facilities

Foundation & Primary Stages follow the Cambridge International Education (CIE) program with English, Mathematics and Science as core subjects. Instruction in Foundation and Primary stages is supported by the Montessori approach with hands-on materials to help children learn the 'how' and the 'why' while developing responsibility and self-motivation. The Lower Secondary Stage uses the Pearson International Lower Secondary Curriculum (iLower Secondary) for English, Mathematics, Science and Computing, and Year 9 achievements are externally marked by Pearson. Upper Secondary & Advanced Stage offers IGCSE; the school provides Cambridge, Pearson and OxfordAQA programmes for O Level, International AS Level and A Level, as routes to A Levels and IGCSEs, with National subjects provided in accordance with Egyptian Ministry of Education requirements. The school has a Learning Support Department with individualized education plans (IEP) to assist students with learning difficulties, enabling participation in normal school culture and academics alongside peers. French is offered as a second language.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Extra curricular subjects (sports, art and Islamiyat) are an integral part of the learning process. Sports are a core element of development, with swimming, archery and horse-back riding in addition to karate and fencing, taught by qualified instructors. Art fosters creativity with a variety of materials and an art workshop. Islamiyat covers Quran recitation, memorization and revision sessions in line with the Egyptian Ministry of Education syllabus. The Human Development Department supports student wellbeing, and the Community Development Program promotes service and social projects to empower students.
