New Generation International Schools was founded by Dr. Salma in 2003 and opened in August 2005. The Foundation Years occurred from 2005 to 2007, followed by The High School Growth Years from 2007 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, the Core Academic Focus guided development. In 2015, Paying Back to the Community began, with a Five Year Plan introduced in 2020 and The NG Magazine appearing in 2021.
