Safia Trabelsi, Head of School, spent nearly 15 years working in human development and human rights with the United Nations and other international organisations. The Nile River Montessori journey started when she was looking for a preschool for her daughter and quickly realised the need to start a progressive preschool to serve the community. Montessori Education is an organic and progressive method that places the child at the heart of the system, helping children reach their full potential at their own pace with respect for their personality and desire to learn. Families are invited to visit and learn about the programme, and Safia is happy to sit down with them and answer questions. © 2018 Nile River Montessori.
The school has a global community with over 130 children, over 105 families, and 25 nationalities represented. Voices From Our Community features parent perspectives.
