Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
All children must wear The BSE school uniform, purchased from the uniform shop. Most items display The BSE logo. If a student cannot wear a uniform item on a given day, the parent should email their class teacher.
Hot and cold meals are provided through Delta Catering Services. The catering menu changes each term and the restaurant does not accept cash sales. Meals are paid through the SPARE cashless system; parents can preload SPARE accounts and monitor purchases; Foundation stage meals can be pre-ordered for the week or month and delivered to classrooms at appropriate break times.
The BSE has four houses: Balmoral (Purple), Windsor (Red), Stormont (Green), and Cardiff Castle (Yellow). On entry, each child is placed into a house and remains a member of that house; house points are awarded for classroom behavior, participation, kindness and achievement, and there are House Days and inter-house events. Weekly house points are collected and announced in assemblies.
