The ASA programme offers after-school activities for pupils from Year 1 to Year 10. The range includes Robotics, Cooking, Climbing, Sports, Swimming, STEM, Fitness, Reading, Music, Dance and Drama. Activities run in five‑week blocks each term, with more than 200 pupils involved, and are led by specialist staff. Some activities are on‑site and others are organised by external providers.
The Creative Arts Department delivers Music, Art & Design, Drama and Performing Arts. Music experiences develop talent, confidence and creativity, with opportunities to compose and listen critically. Art & Design encourages experimentation and critical thinking about art and design, while reflecting history and culture. Performances and exhibitions showcase productions in the school theatre and annual visual art exhibitions.
The Extra-Curricular Activities (ASA) cover a broad range of social and hobby clubs, including sport, fitness, reading, music, dance and drama. The school runs School Sports Teams and Squad training after class; Bears, Sharks and Eagles compete in matches, competitions and tournaments. These activities promote teamwork, social interaction and physical well-being.
The school hosts Community Carnival events to foster community involvement and school spirit. These community activities bring pupils, families and staff together for celebrations and collaborative projects.
The BSE mission commits to being a school with leaders, designers, creators and contributors. The Vision emphasizes preparing pupils to understand, find solutions and succeed in a rapidly changing society, so they may impact on and improve the world.
Complete Well‑BSEing adopts the principles of Positive Psychology to build resilience and well‑being for every child. The British School of Egypt is a co-educational British international school in Sheikh Zayed, Cairo, delivering the National Curriculum for England. The school serves students from age 2 to 17, starting with the EYFS and progressing through Cambridge IGCSE, Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels and Cambridge A Levels.
