The British School of Egypt opened in 2010 in Sheikh Zayed. The school has a large campus with dedicated buildings for Early Years, Primary School and Secondary School. It has a large theatre, a heated swimming pool, and sporting facilities. It has science laboratories, music rooms, art rooms, drama rooms and ICT rooms. The school is located in Al Sheikh Zayed, Giza Governorate.
The school has a heated swimming pool. General sporting facilities are available on campus. These facilities support the school's Physical Education programme. The campus houses spaces dedicated to PE and school sport.
Science laboratories are on site. ICT rooms are on site. Music rooms, art rooms and drama rooms are available. These spaces support the delivery of the National Curriculum for England and related arts and sciences subjects.
ASA programme begins in the Autumn term and runs in blocks of five weeks. On four ASA nights, over 200 students are involved. Activities cover Robotics, Cooking, Climbing, Sports, Swimming, STEM, Fitness, Reading, Music, Dance and Drama. School Sports Teams and Squad training run alongside ASA.
The British School of Egypt is a co-educational British international school in Sheikh Zayed, Cairo, delivering the National Curriculum for England.
