A School Counselor leads pupil welfare and provides targeted support. The British National Curriculum with local adjustments underpins learning across the school. From Year Four onwards Egyptian Arabic, Religion and Social Studies are studied as part of the Egyptian Ministry of Education curriculum, while other students study Arabic as a foreign language. The curriculum is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales, with adjustments for local context and international culture. In Key Stage Three, subjects include English, Mathematics, Science, Art and Design, French or German, Humanities (including Global Perspectives), Music, Physical Education and Computing; Egyptian students also study the Egyptian Ministry of Education Curriculum in Arabic, Religion and Social Studies, while others will study Arabic as a foreign language. Key Stages Four and Five involve five IGCSE subjects with options for AS and A levels, and Egyptian students continue with the Egyptian Curriculum. Beyond The Classroom, languages such as Spanish and Chinese Language & Culture are offered.
