Step 0 Admissions Criteria. Bingham Academy does not discriminate on gender, race, religion, color or national and ethnic origin in its admissions. KG1 applicants must be 4 years old on or before August 31. Applicants must complete all necessary components by the stated deadlines and pay a non-refundable application fee of $100 USD. Advancement to each phase does not guarantee enrollment. Step 1 Phase 1: Create an account. Beginning January 5, 2026 through February 6, 2026 a PowerSchool account should be created by any interested family seeking admission. After creating the account, move to Phase 2. This phase provides access to the online application and forms. Step 2 Phase 2: Online application & recommendation forms and fees. The online application should be completed by any interested family seeking admission. In addition to the application, two confidential recommendation forms are required: BA Confidential School Recommendation Form and either BA Confidential Religious Leader Reference Form (if part of a religious organization) or BA Confidential Character Reference Form (if not). All fees must be paid and all forms submitted by February 6, 2026; submission alone does not guarantee enrollment. Step 3 Phase 3: Group interviews. After an initial screening of applications, selected applicants will be invited to group interviews. Invitations are determined by applicants meeting minimum requirements, alignment with the criteria above, and available spaces in each grade level. Group interviews (by invitation only) will be held on March 10 and 12, 2026. Step 4 Phase 4: Placement testing. Following group interviews, selected applicants will be invited to placement testing. Each child will be given age-appropriate assessments to determine correct grade-level placement. Placement tests are not used as a selection criterion, but to ensure correct placement. Placement tests will be held April 1–23, 2026 for KG through Grade 2 and April 15, 2026 for Grade 3 through Grade 12. Step 5 Phase 5: Final acceptance letters. Official acceptance letters are provided to accepted students and families. Enrollment is guaranteed only after the family accepts the invitation and pays the place-holding fee. Final acceptance letters will be sent on May 8, 2026. Forms/Links Needed to Apply: PowerSchool Account and Online Application Form are required and accessible from within the application account. The BA Confidential School Recommendation Form and the BA Confidential Religious Leader Reference Form or BA Confidential Character Reference Form are accessible within the application account. Note: Advancement to each phase does not guarantee enrollment. Answers to common questions include grade levels (KG1–Grade 12 with Cambridge International Examinations Curriculum), class sizes, and that there is a waiting process described above.
The school has a limited capacity to take new students each year and does not maintain a long-term waiting list. If a space for the coming academic year opens up after the admissions period but before the start of the new school year, the school will contact previously unsuccessful applicants to see if they would still like to be considered for a place. If a space is not available, the applicant will need to submit a new application during the next admissions period.
