Fees

Application fees

- A non-refundable application fee of USD 100 is required at the time the online application is submitted.

Tuition amounts by year group (amounts)

- The school does not publish a public, grade-by-grade fee schedule on its publicly available documents. Tuition amounts are issued on the school's official invoices and through the application/PowerSchool payment process; fees are set in US dollars and converted at the SIM exchange rate when settled. Parents receive the specific tuition amount for their child on the invoice generated for that application/enrolment.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Place‑holding (acceptance) payment and installment structure: tuition invoices use a multi-invoice instalment schedule. The billing model uses a Place‑Holding payment followed by three instalments. The instalment percentages used by the school are: Place‑Holding fee 10%, then Invoice 2 = 30%, Invoice 3 = 30% and Invoice 4 = 30%. Specific invoice due dates are set on the school invoices/bulletins. Parents may arrange to pay the full year's tuition in a single payment through the school finance office if desired.

- Capital Development and other specific charges: the annual Capital Development contribution is invoiced (100% where shown) and new‑family capital development charges follow the same Place‑Holding / 30% / 30% / 30% instalment pattern shown on invoices. Cambridge examination charges and Grade 8 & Grade 12 trip fees are invoiced separately on their own schedule (exam fees are invoiced 100%; trip fees typically split across instalments).

- Currency and exchange: tuition and invoices are denominated in US dollars; the exchange rate for settlement is calculated using the US dollar rate at SIM on the day of settlement.

Boarding fees (if applicable)

- Bingham Academy's published materials do not list boarding provision or boarding fees for students. The school operates as a day school with alternatives (including home‑school support) and offers staff housing benefits for employees. No student boarding fee schedule was found in the school's publicly posted documents.

Other costs and regularly charged items

- External examination charges (Cambridge/CIE) are charged to student accounts and are invoiced as exam fees. Retake costs for Cambridge exams must be paid by parents where applicable.

- Typical additional charges that may appear on a student account include: annual Capital Development contribution, New Family capital contribution (where applicable), musical instrument costs, after‑school club fees (run by outside instructors), school lunches, school trips (Grade‑specific trip charges), Bingham merchandise, PE uniform and KG bookbag, and fees for standardized tests or retakes. These items are listed as chargeable items in the school's communications to families.

- Spot assessments or school‑administered tests may carry small fees (guidance / testing fees are mentioned as nominal charges assessed to a student's account).

Refund information and withdrawal terms

- Place‑Holding (acceptance) fees are non‑refundable. Families starting late in the year or leaving before the end of the school year remain liable for the full amount of the Annual Capital Development Fee and the New Family Capital Development Fee. A minimum of three months' written advance notice is required to withdraw a child to avoid charges for outstanding instalments; failure to give this notice may result in outstanding fee levels being charged or deducted from previously paid instalments. Exceptional hardship departures are considered case‑by‑case by school leadership.

Fee payment options

- The school's admissions and billing use the PowerSchool application/account system for enrolment and payment instructions; invoice and payment instructions are provided to applicants through that system and on issued invoices. The school's documentation and admissions process point applicants to the PowerSchool payment/account workflow for payment steps. Specific, named payment channels (for example: exact bank account numbers, credit‑card merchant options, or online card‑payment processor names) are provided to applicants within the school's payment instructions and invoice documents rather than in general public pages.

Summary of what is available and what was not publicly published

- Available as factual items: application fee (USD 100); instalment billing pattern (Place‑Holding 10% then 30% / 30% / 30%); refund/withdrawal terms (place‑holding non‑refundable; three months' written notice required; capital fees remain payable on early departure); currency (USD) and SIM exchange handling; list of additional chargeable items (exam fees, trips, lunches, uniforms, after‑school clubs, musical instrument costs).

- Not publicly available in the school's published materials examined: a public, current grade‑by‑grade tuition schedule showing per‑term and per‑year amounts for the 2026/27 academic year (or 2025/26). Specific per‑grade tuition figures and the exact payment channels (full bank details or merchant processor names) are provided to applicants on invoices and within the school's application/PowerSchool payment instructions rather than as a public fee table. For exact numeric tuition amounts by grade and the school's live payment instructions, the school issues those figures on the official invoice/application account for each applicant.
