Publication includes creating publication organs, and the development, production and publication of educational contents and programs. It covers research and development activities concerning programs, contents and teaching methods. It also includes the organization of colloquia, conferences and workshops, and cooperation with institutions active in education and publication of periodicals. Educational support includes the creation of laboratories and libraries to support school activities, and graduates' career plans are supported through the Career Follow-up and Guidance System.
Musical performances, theatrical performances and poetry performances are part of social and cultural activities. Folk games, school journals, exhibitions and kermes are also included. The activities foster aesthetic development and socialization.
Turkish language and culture are taught in Maarif Schools, with Turkish courses provided as compulsory or optional according to national programs. The teaching is supported by extracurricular activities, club activities and activities aimed at the practical use of Turkish. The Fields Of Activity include the creation of cultural centers, study centers and courses for continuing education.

The system provides ongoing guidance for graduates as they plan their future educational and professional pathways. Fields of Activity also include the opening of schools at nursery, primary, secondary and higher levels, and the creation of cultural centers and study centers for continuing education.
Sports tournaments are included as part of social and cultural activities. Scouting and youth camps are offered. The Fields of Activity include the creation of additional equipment for sport centers to support physical development.
International Maarif Schools of Ethiopia – Addis Ababa comprises two campuses established in 2021: the Addis Ababa Campus (primary and secondary) and Sarbet Campus (kindergarten). The schools deliver education in English through Cambridge IGCSE (International Cambridge Curriculum) and are affiliated with Türkiye Maarif Foundation. As of 2025, two campuses educate 642 students and employ 125 staff. Classrooms and science laboratories support learning in physics, biology, chemistry and computing; the CMC Campus has 26 classrooms in addition to its labs. Addis Ababa Campus covers primary and secondary stages, while Sarbet focuses on early years. Students have access to sports facilities including a football field, a basketball court and open areas. An active extracurricular program includes visits to cultural and historical sites, student clubs and performances, and a Career Follow-up and Guidance System supports graduates. Turkish language and culture are taught through cultural clubs, with English as the common language of instruction.
