What kinds of school events can I find in New zealand?
You'll find open houses, school tours, information sessions, parent talks, taster days and admissions Q&A sessions from international schools in New zealand. Filter by event type to narrow it down.
Are these school events free to attend?
Almost all open houses, tours and information sessions listed here are free. If a school charges for an event, it will be marked clearly on the event page.
Do I need to register in advance?
Most schools require registration so they can manage numbers. Each event page links directly to the school's registration form or booking page where one exists. If there's no link, contact the school admissions team directly.
Can I bring my child to a school visit or open day?
Open days and family tours are usually designed for the whole family. Information sessions and parent talks are often for parents only — check the event description before bringing children.
What's the difference between an open day and a private tour?
Open days are scheduled, group events where the school is open for visits and meet-the-staff sessions. Private tours are one-to-one walk-throughs you book individually with the admissions team — useful if you can't attend the public open day.
How do you decide which events to list?
