The French School Jules Verne is a small primary school at the heart of Helsinki. It welcomes both French-speaking families and those who do not speak French, and offers the French curriculum in accordance with the French Ministry of Education, in harmony with Finnish specifics. The school has a multilingual and multicultural environment with more than 10 nationalities represented; English is taught from age six with reinforcement from age eight, and Finnish is introduced from the first year of playschool. The school is part of AEFE, the Agency for French Education Abroad, the largest network of French schools in the world.
The Cercle Jules Verne is a school-supporting association that brings together parents and external members. The Cercle organizes activities for children and parents, including Halloween parties, school parties, bake sales, cultural visits, workshops, and outings. All parents are welcome to participate.
