The Deutsche Internationale Schule Tbilissi operates on its own campus in a green suburban setting in the Bagebi district of Tbilisi. The campus houses both the kindergarten and the school. It opened in September 2017, and from 2019/2020 two side wings with classrooms and specialist rooms were added, along with a multipurpose sports hall. Since the 2022/2023 school year, the school and kindergarten have used the fully developed campus, with generous outdoor spaces for play and sport.

After the regular classes, students can join after-school clubs. The 2025/2026 program offers a range of creative and sports activities, including theatre, dance, painting and crafts, clay modeling, mechatronics, chess, karate, volleyball, yoga, and football. The school operates as a full-day program, with supervision until 17:00. For grades 1–4 there are daily learning times integrated into the timetable; grades 5–12 complete homework at home. The school library provides age-appropriate German literature as well as books in English and Georgian, with open access and borrowing for home reading. The Goethe-Institut Onleihe digital library is recommended for additional German-language materials.
Deutsche Internationale Schule Tbilissi is a German-Georgian encounter school for students aged 3 to 18. It belongs to Germany's network of over 140 Auslandsschulen and uses a bespoke curriculum. In the Sekundarstufe, the education plan follows the German state of Thuringia, with the school's curricula building on it. Since 2021/2022 the school offers 12 classes (grades 1–12) and graduates with the Deutsches Internationales Abitur (DIAP). Quereinsteiger can obtain the Hauptschulabschluss after grade 9 and the Realschulabschluss after grade 10. Grade 5 is an orientation stage with an individual pathway recommendation, and the school maintains close contact with students and parents. English is taught from grade 3 and French from grade 6; Georgian is taught as a mother tongue for Georgian-language students and as a foreign language for others. The Bagebi campus opened in 2017 and comprises two wings of classrooms, specialist rooms and a multipurpose hall, with spaces until 17:00.
