GAHS participates in international activities and conferences. GAHS students participated in IJSO 2023 in Thailand, where the Georgian team won a bronze medal; the team was composed entirely of 10th- and 11th-grade students from GAHS and GAS. 54 countries participated in IJSO 2023, highlighting Georgia's presence in international science competitions. GAHS and GAS students also took part in I-Fest 2023 in Tunisia, presenting four projects across computer engineering and physics.
Georgian-American High School is an independent school for students aged 6 to 18 that offers a blended international curriculum. The school holds Cambridge Pathway accreditation and Cognia accreditation and is a College Board member since November 1, 2022, administering PSATs and the SAT on campus. It also hosts an SAT and AP Test Center and a TOEFL Test Center, supporting college admissions worldwide. The curriculum combines Cambridge Primary and Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, AP, and an American program, with credits easily transferable to American and European high schools. Facilities include age-appropriate classrooms, a rich Georgian and English library with OpenBiblio access, and STEM laboratories for Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics and IT. The campus provides two indoor gyms, two outdoor playgrounds, a medical unit, and security services. GAHS participates in international exhibitions and Olympiads (ISEF, MILSET, ICYS, IMUNA, Mu Alpha Theta, IJSO) and has a track record of contest success and recognitions.
