Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

Progress started in the early 2000s as a startup focused on sustainability and innovation. The school is licensed by the National Center for Educational Quality Development of Georgia and accredited for the American program and exam-preparation courses (AP, PSAT, SAT, ACT). The American program is fully accredited by Cognia, enabling a Georgian-American K-12 integrated education and a dual diploma recognized internationally. Graduates continue to study at top universities worldwide, including the University of San Diego, Stanford University, the University of Chicago, The Hague Academy of International Law, and Constructor University Germany, among others.

Community

The Progress schools offer a National Curriculum together with an American K-12 program in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Batumi, with modern teaching methods developed by experienced educators. The American program provides a dual diploma (Georgian high school certificate and American high school diploma) and includes Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Non-formal education is delivered through clubs and projects, with about 20 clubs across all three campuses, including STEM Club, English Reading Club, Model UN, Debate, Business Education Club, and Drama. The program also runs conferences and exchanges and offers international study tours such as London Summer Experience, cultural and educational tours to China 2026, and Finland and Estonia 2026.
