Admission: Students can be enrolled at any time of the school year. However, it is usually better for students to start at the beginning of a semester, either in September or January. The placement of a particular student depends on his or her age. The school will try to keep all children of the same ages studying together. A placement test may be required on admission. To enrol a student at the school, contact the Head of Administration, who will take the child's details and arrange for you to visit the school and meet some of the teachers. Alternatively, please complete the following application form and send it to the school.
St. George's British-Georgian School in Tbilisi delivers a 12-year bilingual programme blending the Georgian National Curriculum with core English National Curriculum subjects. Instruction for British qualifications is in English, with Edexcel International GCSEs and Edexcel A Levels, while Georgian qualifications are offered in Georgian. The school begins intensive English from Year 1 and integrates Georgian subjects throughout primary. In the middle years (Grades 7–9) students study most English National Curriculum subjects alongside Georgian, with mixed-ability classes and a student-centred approach. In senior years (Grades 10–12) pupils pursue IGCSEs and may complete the Georgian National Certificate alongside Edexcel A Levels, enabling direct access to international universities. English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, and a Modern Language (Russian or Spanish) are central. Facilities include a science lab, a library, an art studio, a ceramics studio, and a universal stadium. The school offers internships and exchanges with Sidcot and Leighton Park, supporting progression globally.
