Academic and Intellectual

St. George's Georgian-British School BGS offers a bilingual 12-year programme that combines the Georgian National Curriculum with core subjects from the English National Curriculum. The British examination subjects include English, Mathematics, Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology), and Humanities (History, Geography), with Russian or Spanish offered as a Modern Language. At the end of Grade 6, students take English, Mathematics and Science exams to receive the iPrimary certificate. From Grades 10–12, students pursue Edexcel International GCSEs and may complete with both the Georgian National Certificate and Edexcel A Levels.

Arts and Creative

Arts and creative activities are offered as part of the extracurricular program. Drama Club invites students from grades 3 to 11; Vocal Club and both Georgian and Modern Dance ensembles (including the BGS Gremi) provide performance opportunities. Ballet Club is also available, alongside a football club for sport-focused students. In addition to core subjects, students may explore music, drawing, singing, ceramics, chess, karate and dance, with activities aligned to student interests as they grow.

Cultural and Language

The curriculum includes a bilingual programme that combines Georgian and British elements, with English taught from Year 1 as part of the English National Curriculum. Russian or Spanish is offered as a Modern Language. Educational outings and two-week trips to England, Spain and Malta provide international and cultural experiences, and there are internships and exchange programs with UK schools Sidcot and Leighton Park.

Social and Hobbies

Extracurricular activities are planned according to student interests and grow each year. Clubs include Drama Club (grades 3–11), Vocal Club, Ballet Club and Georgian/Modern Dance, and a Football Club, with school-wide activity calendars monitored through the House System. In addition to performing and dance, students can pursue music, drawing, singing, ceramics, chess, karate and other physical activities such as football, basketball, volleyball and table tennis.

Leadership and Professional

St. George's Georgian-British School BGS uses a House System with four Houses named Iberians, Colchians, Brits and Celts. The system includes a Head Girl and Head Boy, House Coordinators and student captains; competitions run between Houses and points accumulate toward an end-of-year House Cup. This structure promotes teamwork, leadership, and school spirit across Primary and Secondary.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Students participate in a wide range of sports and physical activities, including a Football Club called Lions for students in Years 4–8, along with basketball, volleyball and table tennis. Dance and music clubs are offered as well, such as Georgian/Modern Dance and Ballet. The school also supports wellbeing through regular educational outings and a diverse extracurricular program designed to keep students engaged and active.
