LAS offers day and boarding for students. The Boarding House serves boys and girls from Grades 7 and above and is a short distance from the main school building. It provides a house parent, 24/7 security, laundry service, regular meals, bus service to and from school, chaplain, sickbay, CCTV and DSTV, constant power and running water, and 24/7 internet access.
The school has an on-site cafeteria. The boarding program provides regular meals as part of boarding.
It is governed by a Board of Directors and administered by a sole principal who also serves as head of school.
Liberty American School is a private, co‑educational day and boarding school in Accra, Ghana, offering an American curriculum with Biblical integration. It serves ages from early years to 18, with high school grades 9–12 and a pathway toward IB candidacy. The curriculum follows the US-origin AERO Common Core framework, augmented by Bible-based content created by LAS to meet the school climate.
