Liberty American School offers day and boarding education on a campus in Accra, Ghana. The boarding facilities are located a short distance from the main building and include 24/7 security and a full boarding program. There is 24/7 security, an extensive boarding curriculum, laundry service, weekend trips and activities, bus service to and from school each day, a chaplain, regular meals, sickbay, CCTV and DSTV, constant power and running water, and 24/7 Internet access. Early Education spaces feature enticingly decorated classrooms and give learners access to the school library, music department, Chinese room, cafeteria, computer lab, and swimming pool, with plans for a renovated nursery playground. The curriculum is based on the US-origin AERO framework with Biblical integration and includes Library Skills and Information Technology; high school offerings include IB Prep and College & Career Guidance Counseling.
Swimming pool is available on campus for aquatic activities. Physical Education is a regular subject in the Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12) curricula. LAS utilizes the AERO curriculum, a US-origin common core framework. Teachers follow the Scopes & Scales and Biblical Integration components as part of the curriculum. High School covers Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Bible, Foreign Language, Electives, Physical Education, College & Career Guidance Counseling, IB Prep, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship internships. Course selection includes Foreign Language, Electives, and PE; Math and Language Arts are assigned based on grade level, skill level, previous course completion, and future field of study.
Weekend trips and activities are offered through the boarding program. The campus includes a music department and a library to support extracurricular engagement. A Chinese room provides cultural activities beyond regular classes. Information Technology resources support projects outside standard lessons.
