Liberty American School (formerly LAS Liberty School) is a non-denominational private, co-ed, day and boarding American Christian school in Ghana. It was founded in 2012 and opened on August 14, 2013. The founder and Executive Director is Mrs. Cynthia Agyepong. The school is governed by a Board of Directors and administered by a head of school. LAS stands for Liberty American School and Live Above Standard.
LAS welcomes a diverse student body from around the world. The school emphasizes leadership and relationship-building among teachers, students, and parents. A boarding house provides housing near the main school, supporting a residential community. The school aims to grow learners in entrepreneurship guided by Christian-based servant-leadership for the 21st Century.
Liberty American School is a private, co‑educational day and boarding school in Accra, Ghana, offering an American curriculum with Biblical integration. It serves ages from early years to 18, with high school grades 9–12 and a pathway toward IB candidacy. The curriculum follows the US-origin AERO Common Core framework, augmented by Bible-based content created by LAS to meet the school climate.
