- An advance of EUR 500 on first‑semester fees is required (due in May); this advance is non‑refundable after 30 June and non‑transferable; failure to pay the advance can result in cancellation of the student's registration. A 5% penalty applies for late payment.
- A 2% reduction on the billed amount is applied if the family pays the entire annual tuition at the first payment and before the invoice due date.

Boarding fees

- Not applicable: the school does not operate a boarding (internat) service; no boarding fees are published.

Other compulsory or typical additional costs

- Mandatory school insurance (civil liability): EUR 39 per pupil (annual).

Refunds and departures

- Registration fees (first registration and re‑registration) are non‑refundable in the event of cancellation. The EUR 500 advance on first‑semester fees is non‑refundable after 30 June and is not transferable. Any semester already started is due in full; departures during a semester do not give entitlement to a refund of amounts already paid for that semester. Reimbursement in the case of an awarded French scholarship (AEFE) is handled according to the scholarship percentage awarded.

Accepted payment methods and practical payment rules

- Accepted methods: bank transfer or bank deposit to the school's Ghana bank accounts; bank transfer to the French IBAN (Banque CIC Banque Transatlantique) is also provided; cheques are accepted only from Ghanaian or French banks made payable to “Lycée Français d'Accra”. Cash payments are not accepted. Proof of payment should be sent to the school's accounting contacts; a receipt is provided. Payments may be made in Euro or Ghana Cedi. Payments in Ghana Cedi are converted at the rate communicated by the accounting service at time of payment; US dollars are not accepted. Bank charges levied by sending banks are the payer's responsibility. A bounced cheque triggers a 5% penalty and the school may require alternative payment methods.

Late payment and non‑payment consequences

- After two written reminders, unpaid families may have the pupil excluded from classes; continued non‑payment can lead to non‑acceptance for the following school year. The school may propose an instalment plan in cases of genuine difficulty but it must be requested promptly and approved by the finance officer. Penalties apply for late payments.
