Athens Music School has operated since 2016-2017 school year, offering ordinary daytime middle school and lyceum curriculum alongside dedicated music and aesthetics education. Admissions for entering the first year of Gymnasium are held in June, and applicants are tested on musical abilities rather than prior musical knowledge. Over nine years, the school's ensembles have earned national and international recognition through performances at Athens venues and European programs. All students receive music and aesthetics instruction, with instrument lessons and music theory integrated into daily learning. The school supports a rich ensemble program, including Orchestra, European Music Choir, Traditional Music ensembles, Jazz ensembles, and Byzantine Music ensembles that perform at major venues. European and traditional music are taught, and the school participates in European twinning programs. Students engage in cultural activities through ensembles and performances, with daily bus transportation and meals provided due to extended hours, located at Drakontos 37, Akadimia Platonos.
