Byron College is a private British international school in Greece, established in 1986 in Athens. It teaches a UK National Curriculum for ages 4–18 on a single campus, from Early Years through Year 9 following the Key Stage model, Years 10–11 toward IGCSE examinations, and the Sixth Form offering AS/A-Levels. The school enrolls about 560 students from more than 50 national backgrounds, with around 30% Greek; English is the language of instruction and the British curriculum is enriched to reflect the Greek context. The 5,000 square metre campus in Pallini features bright, naturally lit classrooms, outdoor learning spaces, courtyards and a library, plus sustainability features and bioclimatic design. Unique aspects include cross‑age mentoring and the Ellinomathia examinations alongside Edexcel and Cambridge awards. A broad enrichment programme runs alongside academics, including Model United Nations, Drama, Greek Dancing and the Duke of Edinburgh Award, supported by strong sport, arts and languages provision.
