Green Camp is a nature-immersed day camp for children and youth aged 3 to 18, offering an adventurous and engaging educational experience. The programs emphasize sustainability, the environment, self-confidence, leadership, and teamwork. Activities include adventure education, gardening, music and art, photography, games, natural sciences, and sports. Children reflect on how their discoveries can be applied at home and in the community, learning through hands-on collaboration.
Music and art are integrated into Green Camp activities. Participants express themselves creatively through art projects, music, and photography. Creative exploration is woven into outdoor and classroom activities, encouraging collaboration. The learning is experiential and collaborative, with creativity at the center of many projects.
Summer sessions include a Maya Culture theme, exploring Guatemalan heritage. Camp experiences highlight local cultural traditions and stories. Other themes cover nature, natural resources, farming to table, biodiversity, and Antigua's history. Campers connect cultural learning with hands-on activities and community context.
Games and sports are integral to the program, promoting social interaction and physical activity. Participants collaborate on group projects and shared experiences. Teamwork and community engagement are encouraged throughout the camp. Social skills develop through a mix of outdoor activities and creative pursuits.
We work with local companies, projects, and NGOs focused on the environment and sustainability. This exposure connects campers with real-world environmental initiatives and community partners. Antigua Green School in Guatemala is a private day school serving ages 1 to 18 with a bilingual English/Spanish environment. It integrates Guatemalan CNB standards with Cambridge frameworks, offering PreK–12 and Cambridge assessments Checkpoint, IGCSE, alongside the Guatemalan diploma. Located on Finca La Azotea, a 70‑acre coffee farm and cultural center in Antigua Guatemala, the campus connects students with nature and features classrooms that open to natural light and indoor–outdoor transitions. The curriculum is organized around Units of Inquiry and Learning Cycles, supporting interdisciplinary, sustainability‑focused studies. Secondary is structured into two‑year cycles—Pioneer, Voyager, and Phoenix—and students prepare for Cambridge exams while meeting CNB requirements. The language of instruction is bilingual with dual immersion English/Spanish classrooms.
