Internal ECAs run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm and typically last five to six weeks, led by Anfield School staff. Offerings cover Art & Design (Cartoon Drawing, Graphic Design, Origami, Painting); Cultural Activities (African Lifestyle and Culture, Chinese Characters, Chinese Chess, Chinese Geography, Chinese Songs); English-language clubs (Debate Club, Drama, Journalism and Media, Philosophy for Children, Spelling & Word Games); Maths (Maths Challenge Club); and S.T.E.A.M (Animation, Coding, VR). External ECAs, hosted by external providers on other days for an additional fee, include Engineering S.T.E.A.M Workshops, Robotics Division, Science & Art Club, and a range of sports; sessions typically run for 8-10 weeks.

Arts and Creative

Arts and creative activities are offered through ECAs, including Art & Design (Cartoon Drawing, Graphic Design, Origami, Painting) and Music (Choir, Djembe Group, Garageband, Recorder Ensemble). Drama and related arts activities are also part of the program, with opportunities in journalism/media and other English-language creative activities. External ECAs extend arts offerings through partnerships with external providers.

Cultural and Language

Internal ECAs include Cultural Activities such as African Lifestyle and Culture, Celtic Arts and Crafts, Chinese Characters, Chinese Chess, Chinese Songs, and Chinese Geography. Languages offered through ECAs include Mandarin, French, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. These activities support cultural awareness and global perspectives as part of Anfield's enrichment program.

Health and Wellbeing options include Mindfulness and Yoga, with Zones of Regulation strategies noted as part of social-emotional learning. External ECAs also include additional sports such as Fencing, Football, Gymnastics, Taekwondo, and Tennis, expanding after-school activity choices.

Community and Service

Parent volunteering is welcomed at Anfield; opportunities exist to help in classrooms and support school events. Volunteering roles commonly include assisting with class activities and field trips, with involvement encouraged across campuses. Policies and details for volunteering are outlined in the school's FAQs, including how to get involved and where to contact.

Leadership and Professional

Student leadership is a key strength of Anfield, with three distinct student organisations comprising representatives from each class from Year 1 to Year 6 and the St. Bosco Centre. The School Council enables pupils to lead on projects, share information with classes, and promote inclusivity. International Mindedness Ambassadors, Digital Leaders, and Student Librarians provide roles that build collaboration, communication, digital literacy, and a love of reading. Year 6 House Captains and Vice Captains, along with Play Leaders, lead peers in events and playtimes and support staff during school life.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Health and Wellbeing are integrated into ECAs through activities such as Yoga and Mindfulness, with Zones of Regulation strategies used to support wellbeing. Regular sports and physical activities are offered, including Basketball, Football, Netball, and Team Games, with additional options like Tennis available through external providers. The Outdoor Learning program enhances well-being through nature-based experiences, including one-day outdoor learning for younger students and residential camps for older students.
