The uniform is worn daily. The uniform design features Mandarin collars, knotted buttons, and cheongsam diagonal lapels.
There is an on-site canteen that has been upgraded. There is an instructional kitchen on campus.
The school has a House System. Each student is placed into one of four Houses that unite students across grades. Houses are led by student and faculty captains and participate in inter-house competitions and collaborative activities to build school spirit and character.
The school is a non-profit organization. It is governed by the Dalton Foundation Board.
Dalton School Hong Kong (DSHK) is a dual-language school on Stubbs Road, Hong Kong Island. The International Program currently spans Primary and Middle School, integrating the Dalton Plan with a 50/50 English–Mandarin model in Primary and continued dual-language learning in Middle School. Notable facilities include a new campus described as being “in the heart of Hong Kong Island” and surrounded by greenery; the school highlights ongoing development of spaces such as a black box theatre, music auditorium, squash courts, music practice rooms, secondary classrooms, and science labs. Signature programs include X-Time, where students choose from offerings like coding, robotics, art, yoga, and clubs, and Xtra Dalton after-school activities featuring pottery, Guzheng, chess, basketball, and Chinese brush painting. Middle School adds Service Learning.
