X-Time is a cornerstone of Dalton School Hong Kong's curriculum. Students select two X-Time classes each semester to pursue activities aligned with their interests. Activities include art, coding, robotics, yoga, sports, and clubs. The program supports independence, collaboration, and self-motivation.
Xtra Dalton provides after-school activities focused on the arts and creative making. Examples include pottery, art and design, hip hop dancing, Guzheng, Chinese brush painting, creative woodwork, and analog game design. The program also includes basketball, Wushu, and chess as part of its creative and recreational options. It runs from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
The school operates a bilingual program with English and Mandarin. In Primary, the Dual Language program offers a 50/50 split across subjects in English and Chinese, across all subjects, including performing arts, physical education and S.T.E.A.M. The school also fields English and Chinese debate teams and hosts cultural activities such as Chinese Culture Week and Spring Festival Temple Fairs.
After-school activities include a broad range of school teams, clubs, and recreational activities. Teams include English and Chinese debate, chess, choir, instrumental ensemble, athletics, table tennis, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, Cub Scouts, and Brownies, with training sessions after school Monday to Friday.

X-Time includes yoga and a range of sports to support physical well-being. Xtra Dalton offers athletic activities such as basketball and Wushu alongside creative pursuits. Campus facilities include a climbing wall, basketball courts, a running track, and badminton courts to support active learning. There is also a dedicated after-school summer camp program.
Dalton School Hong Kong (DSHK) is a dual-language school on Stubbs Road, Hong Kong Island. The International Program currently spans Primary and Middle School, integrating the Dalton Plan with a 50/50 English–Mandarin model in Primary and continued dual-language learning in Middle School. Notable facilities include a new campus described as being “in the heart of Hong Kong Island” and surrounded by greenery; the school highlights ongoing development of spaces such as a black box theatre, music auditorium, squash courts, music practice rooms, secondary classrooms, and science labs.
