Discovery Mind provides uniforms across Pre-Nursery, Kindergarten and Primary. Parents view uniform samples by arrangement, and uniforms are sterilised after viewing in accordance with CHP guidelines. Purchases are made online via Kam Lun, following the step-by-step ordering guide.
The school uses House Teams to foster belonging and teamwork among students. The House Teams are designed to promote integration, cooperation and team spirit through inter-house activities. A Buddy System and leadership opportunities are described within pastoral care.
The school is owned and operated by Discovery Mind Educational Organisation. It runs three campuses: Discovery Bay International Play Centre and Kindergarten; Tung Chung International Play Centre and Kindergarten; and Tung Chung Primary School.
Discovery Mind Primary School (DMPS) is an international school for 6–11-year-olds that combines a Cambridge International Primary Programme with a Mandarin Programme. The primary curriculum is Cambridge International, supplemented by Gold Standard Project-Based Learning across Science, Geography, History, Art and Design & Technology, with Wellbeing, Music and Physical Education integrated into PBL. The school teaches through a school-wide emphasis on personalised learning in small classes; Mandarin is taught daily through a dedicated Mandarin Programme.
