All students are divided into four houses. The house system fosters cooperation and competition across sporting, academic and artistic activities, with teachers' guidance to support house activities and the pursuit of an overall championship.
The school operates as an English-medium Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) school. It is governed by a School Management Committee with a Principal and a Supervisor.
HKFYG Lee Shau Kee College is a Direct Subsidy Scheme secondary school in Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long. It offers two academic pathways: the local HKDSE and an International A Level route using Pearson Edexcel IAL in S5–S6. English is the medium of instruction for most subjects, while Chinese-medium subjects include Chinese Language and Chinese History; Putonghua is used for Chinese in S1–S2. The campus lists 30 standard classrooms, five science laboratories, a LEAD Centre, Blackbox Theatre, Media Lab, Fitness Centre and more. Student life features a Students’ Union and inter-house activities, alongside department-led enrichment such as Mathematics logic games and Rubik’s cube. The school highlights gifted education through its GEAR initiatives and promotes self-directed learning with BYOD and blended learning. Public bus routes provide convenient access to the campus.
