Academic and Intellectual

HKFYG Lee Shau Kee College offers a flexible, diverse curriculum across eight Key Learning Areas to build a strong academic foundation. Junior Forms (S.1–S.3) cover languages (English and Chinese), Mathematics with core and extended modules, Science (Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Personal, Social and Humanities Education, Physical Education, Arts, and Technology. Senior Forms (S.4–S.6) follow the HKDSE framework with core subjects (English, Chinese, Mathematics, Citizenship and Social Development) and electives from seven learning areas, with extended Mathematics options (M1 or M2); the school also offers an International Curriculum, including the Pearson Edexcel International Advanced Level (IAL), as a bridge to IAL. The medium of instruction is English for most subjects, with Putonghua used for S.1–S.2 Chinese Language to support biliterate and trilingual proficiency.

Arts and Creative

Visual Arts and Music are offered in the junior curriculum; senior forms include Music, Visual Arts, and Media Education as part of Arts Education. The curriculum explicitly lists Visual Arts and Music under Arts for junior forms, and Arts Education encompassing Music, Visual Arts and Media Education for senior years.

Cultural and Language

English language and Chinese language are taught, with Putonghua used as the medium for S.1–S.2 Chinese Language to promote biliterate and trilingual proficiency. The senior curriculum includes English Language Education, English Literature, Chinese Language Education, Chinese Literature, and related Chinese subjects. Some students may join Japanese or Korean in Joint-School Programmes, and HKDSE is complemented by the International A-Level (IAL) path, bridging HKDSE and IGCSE content toward IAL.

Social and Hobbies

The school uses a four-house system to foster teamwork, cooperation and leadership, with houses offering opportunities across sporting, academic, social, and arts activities. All students may join the Students' Union, which provides rights to elect, vote, and participate in governance to develop leadership and a sense of belonging. A Leadership Training Programme teaches leadership styles, financial basics, programme planning, delegation and team building.

Community and Service

The Curriculum Aims target becoming leaders who serve the community. Wisdom in Action Programme, a school-based positive-values initiative co-designed with The University of Hong Kong's Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention since 2016–2017, teaches character strengths, empathy and communication, with a focus on S.1–S.3 and some sessions for older students. The Students' Union aims to develop productive citizens and foster school belonging, leadership and service.

Leadership and Professional

Leadership is built through the Houses system, the Students' Union and the Leadership Training Programme, which equips selected students with leadership skills, program planning, feedback, delegation and the ability to promote a positive school culture. The school's Curriculum Aims declare a goal to become leaders of tomorrow, underpinned by Self-Directed Learning, Self-Discipline and Self-Efficacy.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Well-being is central to the school's approach, with Wellness Week promoting positive emotions and stress-relief strategies as part of Positive Emotions. Wisdom in Action Programme supports social-emotional development, and other student development offerings focus on engagement, relationships and personal growth to foster a flourishing life.

HKFYG Lee Shau Kee College is a Direct Subsidy Scheme secondary school in Tin Shui Wai, Yuen Long. It offers two academic pathways: the local HKDSE and an International A Level route using Pearson Edexcel IAL in S5–S6. English is the medium of instruction for most subjects, while Chinese-medium subjects include Chinese Language and Chinese History; Putonghua is used for Chinese in S1–S2. The campus lists 30 standard classrooms, five science laboratories, a LEAD Centre, Blackbox Theatre, Media Lab, Fitness Centre and more.
