Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Submit Application & Documentation
Prospective students must complete the school’s official application form, supplying academic records, birth certificate, proof of address, and other required documents. The school may ask for supporting materials such as past school reports or portfolios if relevant.
2. Entrance Assessment / Interview
Applicants are invited to take written assessments (in English, Chinese, Mathematics) appropriate for the grade level, and may also have an interview with school staff or a panel. Performance in assessments helps determine placement.
3. Assessment of Character & Disposition
The school considers non-academic factors, including personal conduct, attitude, and recommendations. For senior grades, a review of student motivation and goals may be part of the interview process.
4. Offer / Conditional Acceptance
Successful candidates receive an offer letter or conditional acceptance, subject to final validation of documents and possibly completion of prerequisites. Parents will receive information on tuition, fees, and next steps.
5. Acceptance & Registration
Upon acceptance, parents confirm enrolment by signing acceptance forms, paying deposits (if any), and submitting final documentation. The school then assigns classes and provides orientation details.
6. Orientation & Induction
New students attend orientation days, meet teachers and peers, and receive timetables and school materials. The school ensures smooth transition through guidance and support services.
The school does not publicly state that it operates a formal waitlist or pool system in its admissions documentation.
The school runs Scholarship Programmes to reward outstanding students; details are published under “Scholarship Programmes” on the school website.
In addition, the school provides Financial Assistance / Fee Remission (FAS / FR) for eligible families based on income and assets. Approved remission can cover up to 100% of tuition.
The Wong Kam Fai Financial Assistantship (WKFFA) provides up to HKD 4,000 annually to help with learning-related expenses for students already approved for remission.
Eligibility is determined via documentation of family income and assets; students may apply annually. The school allocates remission levels based on sliding scales.
