8221; Originally from Ecuador, I first came to Hong Kong as a missionary, later pastoring a church and teaching Greek at a Bible college. Since Joshua joined ICS in Grade 6, it has been a gift from God to watch him mature into a resilient and independent young man. Across divisions, students explored Chinese traditions through hands-on experiences such as crafting festive creations, tasting traditional treats, practicing calligraphy, and learning the stories behind each custom. During this morning's All Staff Devotion, faculty and staff also took part by writing spring blessings in Chinese calligraphy while dressed in traditional attire, a simple yet thoughtful way to honor heritage within our school community.

Though delayed, the community later celebrated ICS's 30th anniversary, giving thanks for three decades of faithfulness. During her time on the Board, she faithfully led our school community with wisdom and dedication as both a parent and steward, guiding the school's strategic vision, governance, and mission advancement over more than a decade.
