Island Christian Academy (IslandCA) is a Christian, international-minded primary school on Hong Kong Island. The campus is at 70 Bridges Street, Sheung Wan, in the heart of the city, and has been operating since August 2012 under Generations Christian Education in collaboration with the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. IslandCA delivers a broad, international curriculum designed to develop the whole child—academic, physical, spiritual and social growth—within a Biblical worldview. For Year 1 to 6, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) guides learning, while Year 11 to 14 follow the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC). English is the language of instruction; Mandarin is taught as a subject through Chinese Studies. The maths program follows the Australian curriculum. A school bus service is available to multiple residential areas, supporting families who commute. Extracurricular activities include swimming, tennis, photography and dance, among other offerings, helping students build character, resilience and global awareness and compassion.
