Island Christian Academy opened in August 2012 at 70 Bridges Street on Hong Kong Island, born from the Small World Christian Kindergarten community's dream of a primary school sharing its vision, mission, and values. The historic 70 Bridges Street site dates back to 1912, originally a youth hostel, with remnants of the original stone visible in IslandCA's first aid room. Generations Christian Education operates and manages IslandCA through a formal agreement with the sponsoring body, the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. The school has been recognized for its use of the International Primary Curriculum, earning IPC accreditation in 2016 after four years of operation and becoming a Council of International Schools accredited member in 2019. IslandCA marked ten years of service in 2022 (2012–2022), reflecting a decade of operation on Hong Kong Island.

Island Christian Academy (IslandCA) is a Christian, international-minded primary school on Hong Kong Island. The campus is at 70 Bridges Street, Sheung Wan, in the heart of the city, and has been operating since August 2012 under Generations Christian Education in collaboration with the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. IslandCA delivers a broad, international curriculum designed to develop the whole child—academic, physical, spiritual and social growth—within a Biblical worldview. For Year 1 to 6, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) guides learning, while Year 11 to 14 follow the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC). English is the language of instruction; Mandarin is taught as a subject through Chinese Studies. The maths program follows the Australian curriculum. A school bus service is available to multiple residential areas, supporting families who commute. Extracurricular activities include swimming, tennis, photography and dance, among other offerings, helping students build character, resilience and global awareness and compassion.
