ESF Jockey Club Sarah Roe School is an English-medium school for students aged 5 to 19 with a wide range of learning needs. Through generous support from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, the campus provides facilities to keep students happy, engaged and learning. The campus includes eight classrooms and specialist rooms, including a hydrotherapy pool, a soft playroom, and a sensory integration room. It is located in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, at 2B Tin Kwong Road, sharing the campus with ESF King George V School and near ESF Kowloon Junior School. Phase 2 renovation is complete and introduced spaces aligned with curriculum and autism-friendly design principles under the Autism ASPECTSS Design Index.
Hydrotherapy pool on campus supports therapy and swimming activities. After-school Extra-Curricular Activities include football, rugby, and swimming lessons. The school hosts Sports Day as a whole-school event. The school participates in cross-school sports days and ESF-wide sports activities.
The curriculum is personalised, progressive, and focused on global competencies. JCSRS offers Curriculum Pathways, Vocational Learning, and Therapy Support. The secondary curriculum includes vocational learning with emphasis on independent living, communication, job skills, and career planning, with job coaching support. The therapy team collaborates with teachers to empower students and provide direct and indirect services addressing development. The campus includes eight classrooms and specialist rooms to support learning.
The after-school Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) are led by teachers and external providers. ECAs include football, rugby, and swimming lessons, arts and crafts, and e-sport clubs. Whole-school events include Sports Day, the Christmas Show, Lunar New Year celebrations, and Art Exhibitions. Off-site trips and partnerships, inclusion with other ESF schools, reading buddies, CAS volunteers, and ESF-wide events provide additional learning experiences.
ESF’s Jockey Club Sarah Roe School (JCSRS) in Homantin, Kowloon, serves students aged 5–19 in an English-medium setting dedicated to additional learning needs. The school delivers a bespoke, SEN-focused curriculum, with secondary students able to gain units through ASDAN and AQA accreditation. Therapy services—speech and language, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy—are integrated with teaching, supporting communication, independence, mobility, and sensory processing; facilities include a hydrotherapy pool. The timetable features structured learning blocks and regular assemblies, with an Enrichment programme offering rotating student clubs on alternate Fridays. Transport is supported by an ESF-managed school bus service with First-Aid-trained escorts. Campus information and comprehensive public transport guidance are provided on the school site.
