It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Jockey Club Sarah Roe School (JCSRS) was established in 1985 with just six students and two classrooms, originally operating within the ESF Therapy Centre. It was named after Sarah Roe, an occupational therapist who helped develop educational support for English-speaking children with additional needs in Hong Kong. The school was officially recognised by the Hong Kong Education Bureau in March 1994 and later moved to a purpose-built campus in 1996. Over the years, JCSRS has expanded its provision and completed a major campus renovation in 2024 to further enhance learning and therapy spaces.
JCSRS hosts a variety of community and cultural events throughout the school year, including whole-school assemblies, an annual art exhibition, Lunar New Year celebrations, and school theatre performances. The school also collaborates with other ESF schools to promote inclusion and community engagement. These events encourage interaction among students, families, and staff, strengthening the school’s supportive and inclusive community.
The JCSRS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an active group of parents and staff who support the school through fundraising and event organisation. The PTA helps fund new equipment and resources, such as play structures and gym items, and organizes community events, including the annual Walkathon and Christmas Fundraiser. They also assist with social gatherings that bring together families and staff to build connections within the school community. The PTA meets regularly to plan activities and maintain open communication between parents and the school leadership.

The timetable features structured learning blocks and regular assemblies, with an Enrichment programme offering rotating student clubs on alternate Fridays. Transport is supported by an ESF-managed school bus service with First-Aid-trained escorts. Campus information and comprehensive public transport guidance are provided on the school site.
