Arts and Creative

Weekly Music lessons are taught by specialist teachers. After-school programs cover a range of artistic activities. A range of fee-paying activities runs after school, including martial arts, tennis and chess for P2–P6. The emphasis is on broadening experiences beyond the core curriculum.

Cultural and Language

Mandarin is taught daily in Kindergarten and Reception. English is the medium of instruction for all other subjects. Primary 6 travels overseas for a cultural experience to apply Mandarin and explore Chinese culture. The International Section emphasizes language as a core value and aims to develop well-rounded global citizens.

Social and Hobbies

Extracurricular activities are offered after school twice a year, covering artistic and sporting activities. Activities include fee-paying options such as martial arts, tennis and chess for P2–P6. Class trips to places of interest in Hong Kong are a regular part of the program. Primary students also participate in adventure camps for 2 to 4 days (P3–P5).

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

Physical Education is taught by specialist teachers. After-school activities include sports such as tennis, soccer and martial arts. Adventure camps build independence and self-reliance. The school hall is available for Physical activity.

Kiangsu & Chekiang College International Section (KCIS) is the international arm of Kiangsu & Chekiang College in Hong Kong. The school operates on two campuses in North Point on Hong Kong Island: Lower School at 30 Ching Wah Street (Kindergarten to Primary 1) and Upper School at 20 Braemar Hill Road (Primary 2 to Year 13). KCIS opened its International Section in September 1993, adding English as the medium of instruction with Mandarin integrated into the curriculum. The school follows a British-based framework, with English-medium instruction in subjects; Mandarin is taught as a core language. The curriculum includes Cambridge IGCSE for Years 10–11 and the IB Diploma Programme for Years 12–13. KCIS is co-educational and day-only, with a bus service available. Extracurricular activities include after-school clubs such as martial arts, tennis, soccer and chess. The school emphasizes language development and international-mindedness, preparing students for local and higher education.
