Kindergarten and Reception classes operate in half-day sessions: morning groups run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m., and afternoon groups from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. For Primary 1 to Primary 6, classes take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including short morning and afternoon breaks and a lunch period. The daily schedule integrates core academic subjects, specialist lessons, and Mandarin instruction, providing students with a consistent routine that supports engagement and focus throughout the school day.
The school provides a dedicated school-bus/coach service for students.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of HK $500 is payable when submitting the application form. Once a place is offered, families must pay a registration deposit equal to two months’ school fees, which is refundable when the student leaves the school, provided at least one full academic year has been completed and one calendar month’s written notice is given.
Tuition Fees
Kindergarten (AM/PM) and Reception: HK $85,400 per year, payable in ten instalments of HK $8,540.
Primary 1 – 6: HK $101,500 per year, payable in ten instalments of HK $10,150.
Billing and Payment
School fees are billed in ten monthly instalments from September to June and paid via Autopay. The registration deposit is due on acceptance of an offer. A written notice of one full calendar month is required before withdrawal.
Other Costs
Tuition does not include the cost of uniforms, lunch, snacks, books, stationery, or school bus transport. These are billed separately depending on student needs.
Refunds
The application fee is non-refundable. The registration deposit is refundable upon withdrawal, provided all stated conditions are met.
Payment Methods
Payments are made by Autopay for tuition and by cheque for the application fee.
Kiangsu & Chekiang Primary School’s International Section places its Lower School (Kindergarten, Reception and Primary 1) at 30 Ching Wah Street, North Point, with Primary 2–6 at 20 Braemar Hill Road nearby. The Primary curriculum is a modified English National Curriculum from Primary 1–6, with Maths and Literacy taught discretely and Science, Geography, History, Design Technology and Art taught with natural cross-curricular links. Mandarin is taught daily by specialist teachers, alongside specialist Music and PE. Twice a year, teachers offer after-school activities that typically include artistic and sporting options. Field-based learning is part of the experience.
