LTFC uses a formal school uniform comprising a Summer Uniform, a Winter Uniform and a Winter Overcoat. There is also a Summer PE Uniform, a Winter PE Uniform, and a PE Tracksuit; shorts may be worn only during PE lessons.
LTFC has on-site food facilities: a Cafeteria on the New Annex 4th Floor and Starluck Cafe on the 1st Floor. Menu details and dietary options are not listed on the campus information pages.
LTFC operates a four-house system: Red House, Yellow House, Blue House and Green House. House activities include events such as the Swimming Gala, and there are House representative roles linked to the Student Union.
LTFC is governed by an Incorporated Management Committee established on 16 July 2009, which took over governance from the School Management Committee established in August 2004. The IMC includes the Supervisor and other members; the school was established under the Direct Subsidy Scheme by the Lam Tai Fai Charitable Foundation.
Lam Tai Fai College is a Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) English-medium secondary school in Sha Tin, New Territories, Hong Kong. It opened in September 2004 with a curriculum that blends academic study with sports, fashion design, and innovative technology, and emphasizes Art & Fashion Design, Sports Development, Health Education, Innovative Technology and Chinese Culture. The school serves junior and senior secondary students (S1–S6) under the Hong Kong secondary system, with the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) as the senior qualification. The campus features facilities such as an Innovation and Technology Centre, a Library and Learning Resources Centre, a Fashion Centre, and STEM labs, plus extensive co-curricular and partnership programmes. LTFC also runs the Partnership School Programme to support elite student athletes balancing sport and study. Co-curricular activities include a range of school teams, uniform groups and student clubs that encourage sport, arts, culture and service.
