At the Cheung Sha campus, the Reception curriculum introduces young learners to the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Located in Upper Cheung Sha Village on South Lantau Island, the Reception campus of Lantau International School serves children aged four to five in a bilingual English–Mandarin environment. Following the British Early Years Foundation Stage framework, the programme focuses on early literacy, numeracy, creative arts, and social development through structured play and exploration. The seaside setting near Cheung Sha Beach allows for outdoor activities and nature-based learning as part of daily routines. Class sizes are limited to 22 students, ensuring close teacher support. Families can reach the campus via school bus routes and local transport from Tung Chung and Mui Wo, making it accessible while maintaining a peaceful coastal environment.
