The Tai Po Campus offers bilingual classes with English and Chinese teachers. Classes are taught in English and Chinese and open onto a spacious indoor area. The bilingual co-class teaching approach allows students to inquire about the world in both languages and builds bilingual and bi-literacy abilities.
Mulberry House International Kindergarten’s Tai Po Campus is a 20,000 sq ft bilingual pre-school and kindergarten located at Mayfair By The Sea in Pak Shek Kok, close to the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Science Park. Children aged 6 months to 6 years follow an inquiry-based curriculum guided by the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, with a strong focus on English and Mandarin bilingualism. The campus offers bright classrooms opening onto an indoor playground, a music room, a sensory area, a sports field, an outdoor garden and a bilingual library. Mulberry House Families can choose dual-language, pure English or pure Mandarin streams, supported by native-speaking early years educators. A distinctive feature of the campus is its Forest School and daily outdoor play, which are built into the regular timetable and complemented by enrichment options such as Language Arts, S.T.E.A.M., Musical Theatre, arts and sports activities.
