Pui Kiu College was founded in 2005 by the Pui Kiu Education Foundation Limited in the Sha Tin District of Hong Kong. The school was established as a Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) through-train institution, offering continuous education from Primary 1 to Secondary 6. It was built to provide bilingual education that integrates Chinese and English learning within a Hong Kong-based curriculum. The college remains operated by its founding body and continues to expand its academic and international programmes.
The Pui Kiu College community is known for active participation in cultural festivals, whole-school celebrations, and community-service projects. Annual highlights include Chinese New Year performances, National Day assemblies, STEM Day, and Sports Day, where students and teachers collaborate across grade levels. Exchange programmes and Life Experience Camps also strengthen relationships among students while encouraging civic awareness.
The Pui Kiu College PTA operates as an independent body promoting cooperation between parents and the school. It organises parent workshops, family days, and volunteer initiatives supporting campus events. Pui Kiu College is a through-train day school in Tai Wai, Sha Tin, serving G1–G12 with a local HKDSE pathway and an International Stream culminating in the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) for UK university entry. The school outlines subjects across Primary and Secondary, including Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics, Science, ICT, and performing arts in both Chinese and English.
