The school has provided semi-boarding for all S1 students since September 2009. Boarders leave the dorm on Friday after school and return on Sunday or the last day of holiday. If there are vacancies, S2–S6 students may apply to live in the dormitory.
The school requires a uniform. The winter uniform is required.
The school runs a four-house system comprising House of Diligence, House of Reverence, House of Virtue, and House of Faith. Houses are led by an advisor, captains and officials, and participate in house activities and competitions. The four-house system was established in 2015 with whole-school activities.
The school is operated by United Christian College Ltd. and is a Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) school. The School Management Committee includes representatives from OMS International, Free Methodist Mission and Schools For Christ Foundation, along with parents and teachers. United Christian Community Church provides pastoral support to the school community.
United Christian College (Kowloon East), established in 2003, is a co-educational Christian secondary school in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, operating under the Direct Subsidy Scheme. The medium of instruction is English, and the school offers both the HKDSE curriculum (with core subjects and a wide range of electives) and a Non-Local Curriculum option (GCE IAL / A-Level) for senior students. The school provides practical and modern facilities, including a dormitory block (used for semi-boarding, especially for new students), STEAM / robotics labs, block scheduling classrooms, and a school church for pastoral and spiritual care.
