Britannica International School, Budapest offers a British-style education for pupils aged 5 to 18. The curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum and is enriched with Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge A Levels and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE qualifications, preparing students for university study worldwide. Founded in 1996, the school is the longest-established British international school in Hungary and joined the Orbital Education family in 2011. It operates from a purpose-built campus in Budapest's XII district, housing a 250-seat theatre, science labs, an art studio, a music suite, a swimming pool and extensive outdoor facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with smartboards and projectors. The school is accredited by COBIS and CIS. It supports a broad international community with students from over 50 nationalities and native-speaking teachers in several languages.
