Budapest British International Academy (BBIA) is an international school serving ages 4 to 18 with a British curriculum framework. The A Level programme uses Pearson Edexcel International A Level specifications and prepares students for entry to leading universities. The Sixth Form supports Years 12–13 with the International A Levels, and subjects span sciences, mathematics, humanities, business, technology, and languages. Applications are accepted throughout the academic year with no fixed deadlines. The school reviews each application and may request a follow-up discussion or assessment to ensure the best placement for the child. A meeting with the Admissions Officer is encouraged to begin the process, and campus tours may be arranged; children are welcome to attend the first visit when possible. Languages: English is the main language of instruction; Spanish and German are offered as foreign languages (taught twice weekly); Hungarian is available three times a week as a native or beginner course. Extracurricular activities include more than 20 clubs and activities, modern science labs and art studios, seasonal field trips, and participation in various academic competitions. Non-native English speakers receive English as an Additional Language (EAL) support through small-group instruction and one-to-one coaching, with progress tracked by diagnostics.
