The Children's Academy Group of Schools began in 1970 as a small school in a five-room rented premises founded by Late Shri V.V. Bhat. In 1988, the first branch was established at Ashok Nagar, Kandivali East. In 2001, the Thakur Complex branch was established. Today, the group operates four state-of-the-art schools catering to over 8000 students with more than 450 qualified and dedicated teachers.
Core Social Relevance initiatives engage students in climate action, anti-bullying, road safety, and environmental projects. MCOP 2025, a climate-action simulation for Grades 6–10, was hosted on 8 November 2025. Plasnotic, a TAP installation by IBCP students, was unveiled at the NMMC Headquarters to promote waste management. Be A Buddy Not A Bully anti-bullying campaigns, Be Street Smart road-safety initiatives, and Matrubhoomi School adoption further demonstrate the school's CSR efforts to support underprivileged students and environmental initiatives.
Children's Academy International School, Ashok Nagar Campus, located in Kandivali East, Mumbai, offers the ICSE curriculum from preschool to Grade 10, with the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) available for Grades 11 and 12. The school serves ages 3 to 18 in a single campus that combines a strong Indian curriculum with experiential learning and co-curricular activities. Early years are supported by Budding Blossoms, followed by Primary and Secondary sections that emphasize 21st‑century skills through Strategic Skill Development and RF21, focusing on communication, collaboration, citizenship, creativity, critical thinking, and leadership. A pupil‑teacher ratio under 20:1 is maintained, with continuous formative assessment and adaptive lesson planning aligned to the ICSE board. Infrastructure includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Math labs, a Language Lab, a library, an auditorium, an Explorers Den, Indoor Activity Room, and a multipurpose mini auditorium.
