1. Submit an application for admission to the Principal of the concerned campus on a prescribed application form. The form collects standard information required to initiate the admission process. A campus official reviews the application to determine eligibility and next steps. The process starts when the campus receives the application.
2. For Pre-Primary classes and Playgroup, admission is by age: 3 years for Montessori; 4 years for Nursery; 5 years for Kindergarten. A child's ability is also considered in determining readiness for admission. Birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation is required; if unavailable, alternative IDs are acceptable. Additional information may be requested to assess readiness for early years.
3. Admission in Classes III and above is taken on the basis of the previous year's result and performance in a written test conducted by the school, followed by an interview with the Principal. The written test evaluates academic knowledge and comprehension. The interview assesses motivation, character, and fit with CMS values. The outcome is communicated to the family by campus staff.
4. The Dossier contains the school's admission policies and procedures, the Rules of the school, the school uniform in detail, and the school's fee structure and payment schedule. The Dossier goes to the home of all students with the annual exam report at the end of each year, in preparation for the start of the new academic year. It is also given to prospective parents who make an admission query. The Dossier serves as the official reference document for admissions.
