One‑time application and admission fees (payable at admission)
- Registration Fee (non‑refundable): Rs. 15,000.
- Admission Fee (non‑refundable): Rs. 75,000.
- Security Deposit (refundable; applicable from PYP1 onwards): Rs. 50,000. The security deposit is non‑interest bearing and refundable within 60 days of withdrawal/passing out after deduction of any unpaid dues.
Tuition fees — annual and per instalment (Grade groupings and 2025–26 fee schedule)
- Grade EY1 (Nursery): Annual fee Rs. 1,95,000. Two equal instalments; each instalment total Rs. 97,500 (Term Fee Rs. 13,900 + Tuition Fee Rs. 83,600).
- Grade EYP2: Annual fee Rs. 1,72,000. Two instalments; each instalment total Rs. 86,000 (Term Fee Rs. 12,200 + Tuition Fee Rs. 73,800).
- Grade EYP3: Annual fee Rs. 1,57,000. Two instalments; each instalment total Rs. 78,500 (Term Fee Rs. 11,200 + Tuition Fee Rs. 67,300).
- Grades PYP‑1 to PYP‑5 (Primary Years): Annual fee Rs. 4,40,000. Two instalments; each instalment total Rs. 2,20,000 (Term Fee Rs. 31,400 + Tuition Fee Rs. 1,88,600).
- Grades MYP‑1 to MYP‑3 (Middle Years): Annual fee Rs. 4,70,000. Two instalments; each instalment total Rs. 2,35,000 (Term Fee Rs. 33,500 + Tuition Fee Rs. 2,01,500).
- Grades IGCSE‑1 & IGCSE‑2: Annual fee Rs. 4,70,000. Two instalments; each instalment total Rs. 2,35,000 (Term Fee Rs. 33,500 + Tuition Fee Rs. 2,01,500).
- Grades IBDP‑1 & IBDP‑2 (DP): Annual fee Rs. 7,70,000. Two instalments; each instalment total Rs. 3,85,000 (Term Fee Rs. 55,000 + Tuition Fee Rs. 3,30,000).
Special education needs (SEN) — half fee categories
- SEN‑PYP (half fee): Annual fee Rs. 2,23,000; two instalments each Rs. 1,11,500 (Term Fee Rs. 15,900 + Tuition Fee Rs. 95,600).
- SEN‑MYP (half fee): Annual fee Rs. 2,38,000; two instalments each Rs. 1,19,000 (Term Fee Rs. 16,500 + Tuition Fee Rs. 1,02,500).
- SEN‑IGCSE (half fee): Annual fee Rs. 2,38,000; two instalments each Rs. 1,19,000 (Term Fee Rs. 16,500 + Tuition Fee Rs. 1,02,500).
- SEN‑DP (half fee): Annual fee Rs. 3,88,000; two instalments each Rs. 1,94,000 (Term Fee Rs. 27,300 + Tuition Fee Rs. 1,66,700).
Billing schedule and payment terms
- School fees are charged for 12 months of the year. Kindergarten (EY) fees and Grade 1–12 fees may be paid in two equal instalments (May and December). The first instalment for new admissions is due on confirming admission.
- If admission is offered mid‑year, fees are charged on a pro‑rata basis. Instalment due dates and the detailed fee schedule are communicated in advance via mail and in school communications.
- Late payment penalties: If full payment is received within 30 days after the due date, a late fee of Rs. 100 per day is charged; if received between 31 and 60 days after the due date, a late fee of Rs. 200 per day is charged. Continued non‑payment may result in removal from school records and forfeiture of security deposit; no examination results or documentation will be released until dues are cleared. Cheque returns incur Rs. 1,000 plus bank charges.
Boarding fees
- Symbiosis International School is operated as a K‑12 day school; boarding is not applicable. Transport is available as a separate service via contracted vendors.
Other charges and recurring costs
- Examination fees: Additional examination charges apply for Grade 10 (IGCSE) and Grade 12 (IB DP); these exam fees are payable to the respective examination boards (Cambridge/IB) and vary by year/program. Courier, administration and related exam processing charges are levied along with exam fees.
- Textbooks: Textbooks for MYP, IGCSE and DP are chargeable and available through suggested vendors; costs vary by grade and subject.
- Uniforms: Uniform vendor details are provided after admission; uniform costs are additional.
- Transport: School bus service is provided by a third‑party vendor; transport fees are charged separately and arranged through the transport coordinator.
- Miscellaneous small charges: ID card Rs. 500; Duplicate report card Rs. 500 (per copy); Duplicate transfer certificate Rs. 1,000. Additional charges for materials, photocopying and admin expenses may be applied for MYP/IGCSE/DP students.
Refund and forfeiture rules
- Registration fee and admission fee are non‑refundable. The security deposit is refundable on withdrawal/passing out after deduction of any unpaid dues, and is refundable within 60 days. Any unclaimed security deposit after the refund period may be forfeited in favor of the school. Outstanding dues may be recovered from the security deposit.
Symbiosis International School operates on a Wi‑Fi enabled campus featuring a spacious sports pavilion, a gymnasium, an auditorium, and multi‑cuisine cafeteria. The academic core includes dedicated laboratories and large libraries, with a play area for toddlers to support early development. Rhythmic, the music room, offers Western and Indian vocal and instrumental training. The curriculum presents a diverse language program within the IB framework, including Hindi B, French B, Spanish B, French ab initio, and German ab initio, reflecting a multilingual community drawn from more than 27 nationalities.
