Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

The Mother's International School conducts admissions through online registration and a point based system for open seats. For Class XI in the 2025–2026 session, registration runs online from May 31 to June 5, 2025, followed by an Entrance Test and Interaction on June 6, 2025. Registration forms are submitted online, and a Registration Number is emailed after paying a Registration Fee of Rs. 25. Incomplete forms or forms without the required documents are rejected and will not be considered. Selection is based on performance in the Entrance Test and the Interaction, with English Core as a compulsory subject. The Entrance Test comprises Group A (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), Group B (English, Mathematics, Social Science; with options in Economics/Accounts/Financial Markets/Management), and Group C (English, Social Science; Group C duration can extend to 3 hours if Mathematics is chosen). The Test is conducted on the School campus, and shortlisted candidates are intimated. Documents required for the XI admission include recent photographs, address proof, and the Class 10 marksheet; additional documents are required for some categories as indicated by the notice. A Registration Fee of Rs. 25 is payable online by Credit Card, Net Banking, or Debit Card. Names must be written in expanded form and match the Class 10 mark sheet. Incomplete registrations or registrations with mismatched data are rejected. Entry to the School for the XI process is via Gate No. 3, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi, 110016. For general admissions of younger classes, applications are submitted online via misms.net.in/admissions/adm_form/index.cfm, with a link from the MIS site; the process consists of three steps: (1) filling the application to obtain a Reference Number and PIN, (2) uploading documents (photographs, birth certificate, address proof, and other category documents such as tuition receipts for siblings or alumni), and (3) paying the Rs. 25 Registration Fee online. The data on all documents must be consistent; incorrect information can lead to cancellation; multiple forms lead to cancellation; transport is not available for Pre-School and Pre-Primary, with limited transport for other classes; for EWS/DG admissions, refer to the Directorate of Education or contact the Directorate of Education, Old Secretariat, Delhi. Localities are allocated points under a neighbourhood system (40 points for neighbourhood, plus additional points for Girl Child, Sibling, and Alumni); a list of localities and corresponding points is published in the notice. The school's admission process includes a provision to use a draw of lots in case of a tie in open seat selection. This summary reflects the School's published admission notices and procedures.

Waitlist

The admission process in earlier sessions included displaying the first list of selected candidates along with a waiting list, followed by a second list that includes waiting list, and subsequent lists if more seats become available.
